ANNOUNCEMENT
Competition for the Position of General Director of JSC "Yangi Angren TPP"
In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Joint-Stock Companies and Protection of Shareholders' Rights", Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-4112 dated 14 January 2020, the Corporate Governance Code, the Charter of JSC "Yangi Angren TPP", the Regulation on Organizing and Conducting the Competitive Selection of the Head and Deputy Heads of the Executive Body of JSC "Yangi Angren TPP", as well as pursuant to the Decision of the Sole Shareholder of JSC "Yangi Angren TPP" No. 3-2026 dated 5 August 2026, JSC "Yangi Angren TPP" hereby announces an open competition for the position of General Director.
Applications are invited from citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan as well as foreign nationals who meet the established qualification requirements.
Qualification Requirements
The candidate must:
- possess a completed higher education degree in a relevant technical field or a higher education degree in economics or law;
- have at least two years of continuous managerial experience in the energy and/or economic sectors within the last ten years;
- possess practical experience in managing a joint-stock company and assume full responsibility for managerial decisions and the financial and operational performance of the Company;
- demonstrate sound knowledge of economics, production technologies, and enterprise management;
- have practical experience in analyzing the financial and economic performance of enterprises;
- possess knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and evaluation criteria applied to joint-stock companies and state-owned enterprises;
- have the ability to analyze the activities and competitive environment of peer companies;
- be fluent in Uzbek and Russian; proficiency in English will be considered an advantage;
- possess thorough knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan governing corporate activities, corporate governance, labor relations, and the energy sector;
- have practical knowledge and experience in applying the principles of corporate governance;
- demonstrate a high level of professional ethics, integrity, business communication skills, and diplomacy;
- possess leadership qualities, responsibility, fairness, discipline, initiative, perseverance, and the ability to make objective decisions;
- be capable of making timely and well-reasoned decisions under challenging circumstances;
- possess advanced computer literacy and proficiency in modern information technologies.
Key Responsibilities
The General Director shall:
- provide overall management of the Company's day-to-day operations and ensure its efficient, stable, and sustainable performance;
- develop and implement the Company's development strategy, business plans, and investment programs, and monitor their execution;
- take measures to improve the Company's financial and operational performance and ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations;
- develop and implement measures aimed at strengthening the Company's financial sustainability;
- organize the preparation of forecast indicators and economic development programs and monitor the achievement of approved targets;
- ensure the accuracy, confidentiality, and protection of the Company's information;
- review and resolve claims and disputes arising in the course of the Company's financial and operational activities in accordance with the applicable legislation;
- ensure compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, internal corporate regulations, labor protection requirements, industrial safety standards, and social guarantees for employees;
- supervise the development of long-term plans for the Company's development, reconstruction and modernization of production facilities;
- organize environmental protection measures, rational use of natural resources, industrial safety programs, and initiatives aimed at creating safe working conditions and improving production culture.

- Motivation Letter and detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV);
- Copy of passport or ID card;
- Copies of higher education diploma(s) and employment record book, or an extract from the Unified National Labor System (ENTS);
- Concept Paper for the Company's development (Business Proposal);
- Medical certificate confirming the applicant's health status.

Applications will be accepted for 15 calendar days from the date of publication of this announcement.
The Competition Commission will review the submitted applications within five (5) working days after the application submission deadline.
Applications received after the specified deadline will not be considered.
