Electrical equipment and relay protection panels located in the 220/500 kV open distribution device of the “Yangi-Angren TPP” joint-stock company are being monitored using a thermal imager.
This process is aimed at remotely determining the technical condition of electrical equipment, identifying hidden defects and overheating at an early stage, and preventing emergency situations. As a result of thermal imager inspection, possible malfunctions in the operation of contact joints, busbar and cable connections, live elements, and relay protection devices were identified, and appropriate measures were taken to eliminate them.
Also, the preventive diagnostic work being carried out serves to ensure the continuity and reliability of the electricity generation process, extend the service life of equipment, and reduce technical losses.
The introduction of modern diagnostic methods at the “Yangi-Angren TPP” enterprise ensures stable operation of power units and auxiliary devices. Systematic monitoring work carried out by the enterprise's specialists is aimed at increasing production efficiency, strengthening energy security, and ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply for consumers.
