The compliance service of JSC "New Angren GRES" organized a training seminar for the heads and employees of the "Chemistry" workshop on the topic "International Standard ISO 37301:2021 'Compliance Management Systems', Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan 'On Combating Corruption', Law 'On Conflict of Interest', as well as the practical application of the society's anti-corruption policy requirements". During the seminar, detailed explanations were given on the importance of implementing a compliance management system, forming an uncompromising position towards corruption, preventing conflicts of interest, the rights and obligations of heads and employees, as well as on the practical application of the requirements of international standards ISO 37301:2021 and ISO 37001. During the event, corruption risks characteristic of the activities of the "Chemistry" workshop were discussed, such as the procurement and accounting of chemical reagents, the objectivity of laboratory analyses, the movement of material values, contract execution, and internal control processes; practical recommendations were given on their timely detection and elimination. At the end of the seminar, an open dialogue was held with the participants, during which the importance of strict compliance with the requirements of legislation and internal corporate documents, further improvement of compliance culture, and strengthening the principles of openness, transparency, and accountability in society was emphasized.
