The Compliance Service of JSC "Yangi Angren TPP" in collaboration with the heads and employees of the Electrotechnical Workshop held a seminar on the topic "International Standard ISO 37301:2021 'Compliance Management Systems', Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan 'On Combating Corruption', Law 'On Conflict of Interest' and practical application of the society's anti-corruption policy requirements". During the event, detailed explanations were given on the main principles of the compliance management system, the rights and obligations of managers and employees, forming an uncompromising attitude towards corruption, preventing conflicts of interest, and improving the internal control system.
Risks of corruption characteristic of the activities of the Electrotechnical Workshop were discussed, including processes related to electrical equipment and spare parts, maintenance and repair, contract execution, as well as issues of ensuring the transparency of accounting of material assets. An open dialogue was held with the participants, practical recommendations were given on the sequential implementation of the requirements of the ISO 37301:2021 standard, strict compliance with legislation and internal corporate documents, as well as further improvement of the compliance culture.
