The Compliance Department of JSC "New Angren GRES" held a seminar dedicated to improving the compliance management system, attended by managers and employees of the boiler and turbine workshop. The seminar addressed the effective implementation of the requirements of the international standard ISO 37301:2021 "Compliance Management Systems", the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Combating Corruption" and "On Conflict of Interest", as well as the company's anti-corruption policy. Participants received detailed explanations regarding the responsibilities of managers and employees in the field of compliance, principles of integrity, and mechanisms for preventing corruption.
During the event, corruption risks specific to the activities of the boiler and turbine workshop were analyzed, and practical recommendations were provided for their timely identification and elimination, prevention of conflicts of interest, strengthening of the internal control system, and further implementation of transparent management principles. At the conclusion of the seminar, participants' opinions and suggestions were heard, with special emphasis placed on the fact that enhancing compliance culture and strict adherence to legislative requirements are key factors for stable operations.
